A validated department is required early in the eSubmission. A department must be selected from a list of valid department names.

At the department question enter a search term. If you're looking for a department with "Health" in the name, enter the term in the input field and select the lookup icon to the right of the input box.

Note the red X next to the lookup icon. The red X means the department name has not been validated.

You will be presented with a list of valid department selections. Upon selection, the name will be copied into the input field. If only 1 name is found, a list will not appear and the found name will be copied into the input box.

Note the red X next to the lookup icon has turned into a green check mark.

You have successfully entered a validated department.
